During November I visited the walker gallery in Liverpool. while i was there I got the chance to visit the John Moores prize exhibition and several different famous pieces of artwork. One of my favourite pieces that I stumbled upon was The viaduct at Arcueil by Henri Matisse. I loved the way that he used strategic brushstrokes to create depth in the piece. I also enjoyed seeing pieces by degas and Monet. One of the other exhibition I visited there was the Kaput by Benedict Drew. This exhibition featured a cacophony of unusual sounds that were linked to several sculptures pieces. The installation was a peculiar and unparalleled experience that i know i will not forget due to Drew's ability to create psychedelic, dream like world.
