Valentin Dommanget

Valentin Dommanget's work is an affront to the classic painting shape. His work is a manipulation of a traditional canvas style as he works outside the normal area. His work spills beyond the canvas which is an element I now am applying to my work. This art has encouraged me to think of different surfaces that I can apply my paint to, as well as, how allowing the paint to make its own decisions can connect to the spiritual theory behind my work. I am using this artist as bridge to the next stage of my project.
