Nicholson's artwork features many different geometric aspects. He uses colour and geometry to create landscapes, still life, and abstract art. His works ranges from complex to very simplistic. He is an art with many talents and he does not stick to one main style of art. All of his works do have a very pastel calming feeling. I like his work and thought it would be interesting to study further because he was very successful. His works should be able to help me understand what steps I can take in my art to progress it. I very much like some of his relief work as they are so simple but have such a big impact. I think it is their simplicity that makes you think about what meaning Nicholson could possible have behind them.
